Full Job Description

This role come with particular responsibility for nursing medical and high dependency cases, depending upon workload general assistance throughout the hospital (skill set dependant) will also be required. Guidance and support of student nurses, and veterinary care assistants are all important aspects of the role. An ability to work closely with other personnel at all times is essential in order to facilitate the efficient running of the medicine service and ensure optimum patient care.

This role involves set shifts on a on a 6 week rota and rotate throughout the week.

These shifts include: 7am-3pm, 7:30am-3:30pm, 10am-6pm, 12pm-8pm, 1pm-9pm, with 1:6 weekend rota.

This role is suitable for an RVN with at least 1 years post qualification experience. Additional relevant qualifications and/or previous experience in a referral setting are beneficial but not required. Full training and support will be provided.
