Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the pharmacy clinical services team at King's College Hospital, in Orpington The post holder will work closely with clinical services to develop provision and expansion of pharmacy ward based activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for professional development and will provide a greater insight into secondary care pharmacy services., This role will be integral in supporting the provision of clinical services to patients on the wards and will include the following:

  • Ward based dispensing services to streamline patient discharges
  • Participation in an innovative 7-day pharmacy service
  • Engaging and working in collaboration with a broad multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensuring medication storage and security criteria are met to comply with national standards
  • To gain an underpinning knowledge and practical experience of performing medicines management duties.
