Medicines Optimisation Pharmacy Technician - Calderdale

Band 4 This is a post designed to meet the requirements of the pharmacy on the Fieldhead site. To dispense medicines and provide technical support to the mental health pharmacy services including checking patients own medication on admission, the dispensing and supply of medication to specific patients and units including in-patient wards, forensic, learning disability and crisis services. To ensure patients information leaflets are available on allocated units and in identified areas and keep all pharmacy information up to date To ensure stocks of medicines are available on all allocated wards and departments through the topping up service. To assist in in the bank holiday provision of pharmacy services at Fieldhead and to be involved in the Saturday morning rota. To work in other areas of the Trust (by previous agreement) if necessary.
