Meeting & Events Sales Manager

As the Meeting & Events Sales Manager you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Meetings & Events. This role involves overseeing the diary management of 45 meeting spaces, and ensuring the smooth and strategic operation of the Meetings and Events Sales Office. You will be primarily sales-focused overseeing the corporate enquiries team of five, monitoring the teams enquiries conversions and the achievement of revenue targets through effective diary management, and hands-on support.

• You have Diary Management/Meetings & Events Sales Management experience to include enquiry handling, conversion activities, and conducting effective site visits.
• You have a good commercial understanding of Meetings and Events within hotels in order to make crucial decisions to grow the business.
• You have experience working in a fast paced busy event sales environment and working as part of a senior management team to achieve strategic business goals and results
• You have experience of and enjoy supporting and motivating a team to prioritise their workload and achieve targets
