Full Job Description
A unique and exciting fixed term secondment opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to be appointed as a Band 4 Member Support Administrator.
This is a part time (0.8 WTE) post available as a fixed term contract or secondment for 2 years.

his role will suit a self-motivated individual who can work under their own initiative under general oversight and direction from the line manager, and display a high level of tact, diplomacy and emotional intelligence
This role will require collaborative working with a range of stakeholders internal and external, though primarily with Research Ethics Committee Chairs and members and staff from Approval Operations.
The post-holder will be required to undertake significant levels of routine administrative procedures with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy., The key duties as follows:
· Receiving and managing sensitive and confidential personal information relating to applications for Research Ethics Committee membership and the payment of expenses to volunteer members.
· Liaising with Research Ethics Committee Chairs, Health and Care Research Wales and Health Research Authority staff relating to interview panels.
· Communicating with operations staff, volunteer members and Research Ethics Committee Chairs in relation to booking travel, venues and catering as required.
· Liaising with finance team, members and Chairs regarding expenses
· Keeping a strong customer service focus at all times
· Attention to detail in the preparation and booking of meeting rooms including setting up of VC equipment on behalf of office staff, volunteer members and external stakeholders

The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable.
