Full Job Description

The University has recently made significant investments into the campus sports facilities including £1.4m on a refurbished state of the art gym at the Edge. This facility includes; a 25m swimming pool with sauna and steam room, 150 exercise classes per week across 3 dedicated studios, an indoor climbing wall, squash courts and the largest indoor sports hall in Leeds. The facility portfolio includes the Edge, the Gryphon Sports Centre and the newly refurbished Gryphon Performance Hub.
We are looking to recruit a Membership Services Assistant to assist the Membership Team to be responsible for the day to day membership processing, communications and clerical membership financial processes. Communicating on a regular basis with many members and whilst supervising sales assistants you must have substantial experience of working in a customer focused environment, delivering an excellent customer service and have previous administrative and clerical experience, working in a busy office environment.
This role is required for 35 hours each week and as part of this role, you may be required to work occasional weekends and/or during an evening to support with events. This role is operationally based at The Edge and will primarily include on-site working.
