From 4 April 2024 overseas workers requiring a general Skilled Worker Visa (such as data analysts, IT and finance professionals, etc) but sponsored by an NHS organisation will need to meet the new salary threshold of £38,700. In addition, applications to the Health and Care Visa route for those occupations paid by NHS bands that are on the immigration salary, a list of skilled jobs which have lower salary requirements, will need to meet the national pay scale for their role or the new minimum salary threshold of £23,200 (whichever is higher). https://www.gov.uk/health-care-worker-visa/different-salary-requirements, We are recruiting a Memory and Wellbeing Worker to work 30 per week at Bridgnorth Hospital. The role will be to carry out assigned tasks as identified by the Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Ward Manager in relation to patients needs, and to provide and lead on a range of activities/therapies to engage and stimulate the physical and wellbeing of patients admitted to community wards with mental health needs.
Please note this vacancy may close early if a high volume of applications is received, we advise you submit your application early to avoid disappointment., + Provide support to patients diagnosed with behaviour and psychological symptoms of dementia and who may require additional support whilst in hospital.
+ Develop and lead therapy/activities within the ward setting.
+ Following training and assessment, competently undertake clinical activities relevant to the post and clinical area as agreed e.g. Bloods and ECG's and baseline observations.
+ Working in partnership with ward staff in developing and delivering solution focussed therapy and care.
