Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking and innovative Mental Health Law Team. The post holder will assist the MHL Team in delivering an effective and efficient service to support Trust professionals in the implementation and monitoring of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act / Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards., The post holder will:
- maintain and effective record system for the administration of the MHA.
- assist in monitoring legal timeframes and advising clinicians on actions required.
- Assist in the co-ordination of First-Tier Tribunal hearings and Independent Review Panel hearings.
- Accurately record and monitor the use of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
