Full Job Description

To assess and support patients referred to the Mental Health Liaison Team based at PRH from the ED and the wards.
To provide formal and informal education and support to the SaTH staff in relation to mental health conditions and interventions.
To support the team in decision making.
To support students and less experienced staff to develop their critical thinking and assessing skills.

Working with the support of the Clinical Lead and the Operational Lead the team provide prompt and robust assessment and support to patients at the Princess Royal Hospital who have been referred for a Mental Health need.
