Penrose Enfield is a vibrant care and rehabilitation service, offering 21 beds in a 24 hour supported accommodation to adults with complex mental health needs. Here, you'll support individuals transitioning from complex care or acute mental health services to a structured rehabilitation setting. Working closely with the mental health trust community rehabilitation team, you'll help residents overcome challenging behaviour's and support medication compliance, making a real difference every day. Join us to be a part of a team that's dedicated to empowering and transforming lives! Shift Pattern: On Rota, working 11.5 hour shift, including a 45 minute unpaid break between 20:30 - 08:00. 3 days on, 4 days off one week, then 4 days on, 3 days off the next week, on a 7 day rolling rota., This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. - Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, including in the criminal justice field, mental health, and/or substance misuse or a good understanding of the sector
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Ability to form and build effective relationships and rapport with others
- Sensitivity and empathy to others, and ability to deal with individual circumstances with professionalism What would we like, but not essential?
- Appropriate qualification: NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care/Community Justice, or professional equivalent
- Experience of providing housing support and a practical assistance within a residential or outreach support role
- Experience creating co-produced support plans and providing appropriate interventions for service user and liaising with other professionals
