Full Job Description

The hospital provides a diverse range of inpatient services, including acute and psychiatric intensive care, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, specialist Eating Disorder and private acute and addictions treatment programmes. Our multi-disciplinary teams deliver personalised treatment programmes to our patients and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.

Acer Acute Ward is an acute ward which aims to focus on the recovery of the patient group. Referrals are taken from the existing acute wards at Woodbourne.

The primary function of the Acute ward is to be outward community facing and assist with getting patients back home or to an appropriate places.,

  • Participate in the development of new services and care pathways

  • Support the local implementation of the Group Nursing Strategy

  • Engage in continuous quality improvement within your service

    an active NMC pin as RMN or RNLD with 12 months post qualifying experience

  • relevant clinical experience

  • a positive attitude and a commitment to improving quality

  • excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication

  • Our shift patterns are

    Day shifts 7:30am to 8pm
    Start and end time for night shifts 7.30pm to 8am
