Due to Community Transformation, We have multiple new, innovative fully-funded vacancies (Either FT or PT) for motivated Band 6 Mental Health Nurses to join our Primary Care Mental Health Team in Sandwell. You would be based out of an office (Quayside House, Oldbury) with regular Primary Care/GP or Home visits so having a car is essential. As this is a new service, this is your chance to be part of, and shape our community transformation within Sandwell! The successful candidate will join our Primary Care Mental Health (PCMH) service, which bridges the gap between NHS Talking Therapies and Community Mental Health Services. The service provides triage, assessment, signposting, referral and brief NICE guidance interventions delivered through a person-centered and recovery focused model. The successful candidate will work closely with Primary, Secondary and Specialist Care Teams, ensuring that individuals with mental health problems are stepped up/down and receive care and treatment appropriate to their individual needs. To be an experienced mental health nurse with the ability to effectively screen, assess and work with service users with:
- complex and common mental health needs
- stable, predictable and enduring serious mental health needs
