Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen on Weaver Ward to work as a Nurse practitioner. Weaver Ward is a 16 bedded female acute ward., The main duty is to be working as a registered nurse practitioner on Weaver Ward.

This will include working a variety of shift patterns including mornings, afternoons, long days and night duties.

To promote and provide safe and good patient care to all service users and support their families

To be able to work within a team and autonomously when appropriate to ensure that service is delivered.

To work as part of a multi disciplinary team and liaise with all agencies to promote safe and up to date practice for service users.

This is a demanding and challenging role where, as a successful candidate, you will be required to demonstrate high levels of resilience, excellent problem solving and inter-personal skills as well as the ability to provide sound clinical and leadershipsupport to team members.

The post holder will also demonstrate a passion for coaching leadership style, quality improvement and attitude which respects and values service users' choice and works alongside them and their carers to ensure they are at the centre of care planning.

This post is subject to an enhanced check with adults barred listDisclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.
