The Regional Mental Health Team provides the organisational model that brings together patients and carers, health and social care professionals and organisations to achieve programmes of significant and lasting improvement where a whole system or collective endeavour is required to achieve improvements in service quality. We are currently recruiting to the post of Mental Health Programme Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the continued development of our Mental Health programme of work. As part of the Regional MH Team at a critical time, this post will lead mental health transformation and quality improvement across the six systems in East. The post holder will work alongside the MH Senior Team, clinical leads, ICB leads, regional and national teams, commissioners and providers to lead transformation of mental health pathways across the East of England. It is essential that the post holder is able to hit the ground running, have credibility within this field and an ability to engage quickly, driving the agenda forward and delivering at pace., The successful candidate will have strong values, champion quality of care, have exceptional communication and quality improvement skills, be able to influence and encourage teams to work across organisational boundaries and hold patient care at the heart of their work. They will have extensive knowledge of programme management and experience of delivering large scale projects across organisational and geographic boundaries. Knowledge of mental health service delivery and current mental health policy would be a distinct advantage. The post-holder will be self-motivated and able to evidence highly developed negotiation and influencing skills at a senior level. As Mental Health Programme Manager, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in leading transformation of mental health services across the East of England.. The post holder will lead and support quality improvement in complex pathways of care through expertise in: Leadership of diverse stakeholder groups to deliver change Developing effective l networks Change management, quality improvement methodology and improvement science, NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.
