Powys Mental Health Services are undergoing significant changes , in line with national and local drivers. The changes ahead are to support and strengthen the quality and safety of pathways across the mental health division as well as improving the overall patient experience.
The development of the Single Point Of Access ( SPOA) - triage & assessment team , is part of our commitment to ensure people get timely access to Mental health assessments and support.
The team has combined with the 111p2 service to provide a streamlined "front door" to mental health services.
The job offers great variation in roles , with the chance to work on the 111p2 line, the professional line or the professional triage line, as well support the development of the assessment team across Powys., The main duties of the job are to support the function of completing triages and assessment for those requiring an urgent mental health response.
It is an exciting time to join the service , with plenty of opportunity and diversity to be had. The team are proactive, forward thinking and have a "can do attitude" which is essential when working at the frontline of mental health services., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
