The candidate will be able to assist with our ongoing activity programme which includes Art Sessions, Craft Groups, Karaoke, Music Performance, Bingo, Gardening and many more…

You will have the opportunity to;

You will have
NVQ level 2 in care or working towards this level, to be achieved within 18 months in post (Essential)
Have experience in delivering frontline care including mental health support
Experience of identifying and co-ordinating a range of services to meet an individual's needs to enable them to engage with community services and activities
Working knowledge of a range of practical and procedural processes in relation to care provision including: Care systems and procedures, Care programmes, Health & Safety and Risk Assessments
Understand the concept of Recovery and apply those principles to develop an environment and service that enhances recovery
A good understanding of mental health issues and how they affect people
Respond appropriately to a range of emotions or behaviours displayed by service users which may be emotionally challenging. Demonstrate the ability to support the individual to regulate their emotions ensuring their physical and emotional safety
Ability to communicate easily and effectively with service users in order to deliver effective support
This is a hybrid role where you will be based at our offices across the borough as well as the opportunity to work at other locations, complete visits and work from home., Disability Confident
