Full Job Description
Working as part of a high achieving and Matrix accredited team, that offers a truly wrap around support service to all students from application to destination, you will provide dedicated 1:1 support to students with low level (not clinical) mental health and well-being needs. In addition you will deliver group sessions to students raising awareness of well-being and provide strategies to support students that helps to ensure students chances of success are enhanced at College and in life. We are keen to hear from people that are team players, have worked with young people in a mental health and well- being capacity in a college
You will need a relevant L3 qualification, extensive experience of providing support to students with low level Mental Health & Well-Being needs and strong IT & interpersonal skills. GCSEs at grades 5-9 in English & Maths (or equivalent).
A qualification in Mental Health 1st Aid is desirable.
