Full Job Description
Exciting opportunity to work in mental health services. Looking for empathetic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working in acute female inpatient services. This vital role involves interacting with the patients on a daily basis and helping them meet their daily needs.
In addition, the job entails being on the front line of monitoring patients 'mental state in order to report this to registered nursing colleagues., To work alongside the nursing team to support our patients through their reablement pathway, working alongside the MDT to support our patients to achieve an independent life, you will be supporting the nurses with reviewing patients individualised care plans, working closely with the Social Inclusion Workers to better support our patients needs.
Duties to include conducting observations, physical health checks and documentation, supporting patients with their ADL's including, facilitating escorts off ward, completion of IROC using the recovery model, psycho education and life skills, preparing our patients with the essential skills so they can use these to live their lives comfortably in the community.
You will have the opportunity to have monthly managerial and clinical supervision, annual appraisals to identify the areas you wish to progress in to further your career.

Post is for full time working, this requires working on rota-based system with rotational nights and bank holidays also a requirement. Previous experience is desirable but not mandatory, as full induction to the service, complete with all mandatory training, will be given to the successful applicant. Once established in post further opportunities for additional training and career progression can be offered.
