Full Job Description

The Mental Health Liaison Service is an ageless service, working with patients of all ages. The post holder will be expected to have some experience working with a wide variety of patient demographics, including children and older adults.

The post holder will be required to work 37.5 hours a week including shifts, weekends, bank holidays, and nights. This service operates over 7 days a week24 hours per day and so there will be times when the post holder will need to frequently work out of hours to operate the service and meet patient needs., The post holder will be a member of the Mental Health Liaison Service in GMMH - Bolton Urgent Care Services and will provide support and assistance to the professionally qualified staff in the department. The post holder will support patients placed in the urgent care centre, this is a waiting area for patient to wait for a mental health assessment to be completed by the Liaison Practitioners.

Responsibilities will include direct nursing care, cleaning of the waiting area, and delegated duties from the shift coordinator.
