EK Outreach Services is a provision for 5-25 years old who are not currently accessing education for a variety of reasons. We are looking for Mentors who are interested in developing their careers in this alternative area.

We are going through an extensive growth period and are looking to appoint mentors who are passionate about supporting students with a variety of needs. At EK Outreach we are grounded in all our students achieving for their futures and achieving their dreams.

We are looking for dynamic mentors with different backgrounds. We are fully committed to working with our staff to extend their qualifications and knowledge. We provide flexible working and have full and part time positions available.

Previous experience in working with special needs is preferable but not essential. To be successful, your application should show your commitment, knowledge and passion for working with children from all types of backgrounds, with different types of needs. EK Outreach Services, provides educational services to children and young people in their homes, at our Outreach Centre, or in other settings. This could include previous or current schools.

Our vision is to find and nurture each young person's unique abilities and interests, using a range of all our skills and facilities, to create a bespoke learning package for each individual. We have experience in delivering educational packages, including pre-entry, entry level, GCSE and up to A Levels, while supporting social development and mental well-being.

All employees are subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure & Barring Service prior to their employment being confirmed. This is a statutory child protection requirement. The nominee will be required, if not currently employed by the provision, to provide original or certified copies of their professional qualifications and provide the details of one personal and two professional referees. Acceptable references must be received before any offer of employment is confirmed. Our commitment to safeguarding is underpinned by robust HR processes and checks.
