Mace design are recruiting for experienced MEP revit engineers to join their rapidly growing business.   • You will ensure robust quality systems are in place, and suitably managed in line with service excellence.
  • You will manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
  • You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the associate director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.
  • Working within the MEP design teams to assist in the design and delivery of building and engineering projects or groups of projects or programmes of work to achieve the highest quality within given timescales, budgets and statutory requirements.
  • Supporting the MEP design team with the production of MEP Revit models and output drawings, including setting up of templates, setting up model files, revit modelling and multi service coordination.
  • Review of contractor's design models.
  • Clash detection.
  • Coordination of deliverables uploads.
  • Close liaison with the Mace BIM team to ensure BIM standards and compliance.
  • The ability to assist BIM team with COBie data drops is an additional asset.

  • You will manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
  • You will lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • You will actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace group, the centres of excellence, Mace way control centre and knowledge hub.

    Demonstrated experience as a CAD technician, preferably in the building services or construction industry.
  • Highly proficient in Revit.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing and revising technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and Revit models.
  • You'll also have:
  • Good knowledge of statutory regulations and standards.
  • Effective technical competence, capability, knowledge & application of all MEP systems.
  • Relevant industry qualification.
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent).
  • Chartered professional.
  • Good knowledge of Office 365 suite of tools.
  • Good written skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly.
  • Good organisational skills making meeting arrangements, planning own work.
  • Ability to use initiative and to make appropriate decisions.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to utilise Revit software and associated digital tools., We are also open to discussing part-time, flexible, and hybrid working options if suitable within the role.
