Merchandising Manager - Leeds

You will be responsible for delivering multiple commercial ranges, alongside the Buyer, whilst also looking after the planning and weekly trading of your category. Maximising sales and profit is key, whilst ensuring availability for our customers at the same time. This role is very fast paced, high profile and a great development opportunity to work across various stakeholders.,

• Working directly with Buyer to set the category strategy.


• Delivering the business plan - working on longer term strategy and shorter-term proactive sales driving activity.


• Driving the business to maximize profit in-season.


• Manage and develop a team of modular planners to deploy the range strategy


• Managing multiple product critical paths to ensure seamless launch of ranges and events


• Analysis of performance data to provide recommendations for range control, waste metrics & selection for future ranges.


• Collaboration with supply colleagues to ensure strong inventory management.


• Working closely with the buying team to further understand our customer needs and competitor activity


• This is a fast-paced role, and the ability to switch between longer term strategy and immediate trading priorities is key.


• This role includes key trading moments where you will be required to communicate to the broader business and manage expectations around performance.


• Create new layouts for store rollout programmes
