Full Job Description

  • Lead and develop the team of Merchandisers within your Market Growth Squad

  • Act as a point of escalation and sign-off where required for merchandising strategy

  • Ability to critique marketing promotions and online material, offering continuous constructive feedback to the team

  • ·Take the lead on prioritisation of events/promotions for the week and relaying this to the Merchandising team

  • Manage working shifts ensuring there is coverage when required

  • Ensure alignment with the wider Growth Squad in terms of end-to-end campaign planning

  • Drive automation and innovation for the effectiveness of merchandising across the shopfronts

  • Be accountable and responsible for the delivery and effectiveness of site-specific activity, Leading and shaping the Merchandising strategy and roadmap, ensuring a test-and-learn approach is adopted to support growth and decision making

  • Identifying skills gaps within the team, supporting with individual and team development

  • Lead the planning, generating and publishing of content across all on-site channels in line with Company content calendars, priorities and marketing plans

  • Accountable for fully managing promotional banners in all brands and all "lobbies"

  • Ensuring our key offers are visible, clear and accurate

  • Supporting the Merchandising team with the management of projects via Optimove and Monday.com

  • Briefing required assets or creation of own assets via Kreate, Canva or other tools

  • Supporting on translation/transcreation of marketing content from English into market language for outbound and inbound retention campaigns and assisting with landing pages

  • Ensure content activity is compliant and that sufficient QA and testing processes have been carried out

  • Overseeing and monitoring performance of content and optimising activity towards KPIs, occasionally presenting to stakeholders

  • Keep up with industry and content trends, especially sports, as applicable to their role and actively contribute ideas and share insights with stakeholders with the support of the wider team

  • Share outcomes, trends and insights with the wider squad, growth teams and retention team

    This is a key role managing, inspiring and growing the experience and competencies of the merchandisers within the squad. Strong leadership skills and experience of managing a team are crucial to this position.

    You will be responsible for driving revenue from existing customers by planning and responding to marketing opportunities driven by outbound campaigns, events, sporting outcomes, product developments and calendars across the Unibet websites. Where possible and beneficial this role may include the execution of pre-templated outbound communications to drive traffic to the sites.

    This role will look after the Belgium market, therefore Dutch speaking and writing is mandatory. Ability to speak or write French will also be advantageous. A passion and knowledge of Sports is highly desired, and any experience of Optimove or CRM tools will be beneficial.
