Metal 3D Printing Operator

Our site in High Wycombe, UK, is looking for a technician who is responsible for post-process operations for metal printed product, reporting to the workshop supervisor.

Role will encompass manual work with hand and machine tools alongside operation of metal 3D printing machines.,

• Setup and operation of metal 3D Printing machines


• Metal powder processing and quality control


• Support structure removal and final finishing of metal parts produced from 3D Printing


• Operation of manual machine tools - drills, saws, grinder, lathe, mill etc


• Operation of inspection equipment to check manufactured product to required standard


• Maintenance and housekeeping of entire workshop including 3D printers, CNC and manual machines
  
  Hands on practical skills


• Versatile and willing to learn new skills


• Good communication skills and enjoys working in a team environment


• Works to high standard under tight deadlines for demanding customer requirements


• Experience of working in machining workshop environment an advantage


• Beginners welcome / training provided
