The Trust uses electronic new starter forms on Trac to collect personal details. Information collected is securely stored and used to set up the employee record on the ESR HR system., 1. The post holder will hold their own complex caseload within the team including responsibilities for risk management and clinical governance, planning and prioritising these
2. Undertake clinical assessments of service users/patients and offer highly skilled treatment or therapy using appropriate therapeutic modalities
3. Work with team manager on intake and referral coordination
4. Provide consultation to external agencies as required such as GPs/schools/Local authorities
5. Review cases where patients have impasses, complaints, or disputes with their clinical care
6. To ensure, where appropriate, agreed standardised assessment questionnaires are completed with clients
7. Formulate specialised plans for the formal psychological treatment based upon evidence of efficacy
8. Arrange reviews and communicate sensitively and effectively with patient/service users
9. Liaise with the referral agent and networks around identified patients for their own and shared cases.
10. Communicate in a highly skilled and sensitive manner, complex condition-related information
11. Undertake risk assessment and risk management
12. Maintain a high standard of clinical records, preparing reports
13. Provide expert consultation and specialist psychological advice to other staff and agencies outside the Trust
14. Provide cover for any relevant rota (duty/on-call/clinical)
15. To undertake delegated managerial duties, which may include line management of more junior colleagues.

    You will join Camden Mental Health Support Team (MHST), which is an early intervention service that provides support to children, families and schools through advice and sign posting, delivering evidence-based interventions as well as helping to develop and implement whole school approaches to mental health. The MHST is part of the Camden CAMHS that delivers high quality care to the local population of 0-18 years olds.
    Your role will include assessments, individual therapy, group work, webinars/workshops and whole school delivery of mental health promotion and various emotional and mental wellbeing projects such as capturing student voice and addressing inequalities.
    Camden MHST is a well-established, highly regarded innovative team. We have a stable staff group that is cohesive, collaborative and supportive. We currently have over 20 staff within our multi-disciplinary team.
