Expectations of the position - The successful candidate will be in year 7 / 8 of plastic surgery training (or equivalent), have passed FRCS (Plast) or equivalent and will have special interest in microsurgery reflected in the application form., Expectations of the position - The successful candidate will be in year 7 / 8 of plastic surgery training (or equivalent), have passed FRCS (Plast) or equivalent and will have special interest in microsurgery reflected in the application form.

The successful candidate will be expected to be involved in teaching and to undertake clinical audit projects. The successful candidate will be expected to attend specialist clinics in ortho - plastic surgery.

This post is recognised for training by the Specialist Advisory Committee in Plastic Surgery and has Royal College Approval.

Candidates must have GMC registration that allows them to work in posts that are not recognised for training. It is essential that candidates have experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices or equivalent.
