Full Job Description

We're looking for a talented Mid-Weight Product Designer to join our fantastic team in London. In this role, you'll work closely with our Product Design Lead, product managers, and engineers to create exceptional user experiences for our customers. Your goal? To design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that help people discover and shop from over 11,000 designers and 8 million products.

As a Mid-Weight Product Designer, you'll contribute to the design direction of our products, from ideation to implementation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our designs are visually appealing, functional, and aligned with our brand values.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the design of our products, features, and releases, working closely with the product team

  • Assisting in analyzing data and user insights provided by our user researcher to inform design decisions

  • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate your design ideas effectively

  • Maintaining consistency across our product designs, following our established design systems and guidelines

  • Collaborating with engineers to ensure that designs are technically feasible and efficiently implemented

  • Participating in design reviews and presenting your work to stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind your design choices

  • Staying informed about industry trends and best practices in e-commerce and product design

    Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision or Axure

  • Familiarity with working within design systems and pattern libraries

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team

  • A user-centered design approach, with an understanding of user research methodologies and the ability to interpret data

  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

  • A passion for creating engaging user experiences and an eagerness to learn and grow as a designer

  • The willingness to give and receive constructive feedback and iterate on your designs

  • An interest in understanding the business and how design decisions impact commercial goals

  • A portfolio showcasing your user-centric design solutions across various platforms (web, mobile, etc.), demonstrating your UX and UI design skills

  • Our Ways of Working: We come into the office between 2-4 days a week and we're always in on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
