Full Job Description
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to work as part of our small team, providing supervision of children during the lunch period, in the dining hall, playground, classrooms and encouraging purposeful play and social activities. Specific details of the role can be found in the job description and person specification in the recruitment pack.

Main responsibilities:
General supervision of children during the lunch period, in the dining hall, playground and classrooms.
Encouragement of purposeful play and social skills activities (if required).
Supervising children, washing hands etc before eating as required.
Ensuring children tidy up/clear up in a satisfactory manner.
To deal sensitively with playground disagreements, listening to both sides to reach a solution.
Dealing with minor first aid problems, reporting any accidental injuries to the Senior Midday Supervisor.
You will need:
To be willing to undergo training as required, in order to develop further the role of Midday Supervisor.
To be patient and calm by nature.
To ideally have experience of working with children and be able to relate well to them.
To be a good role model to the children.
To be able to organise and supervise simple games for groups of young children if required.
To be aware of, and maintain confidentiality on all school matters.
