Full Job Description

Rated 'Outstanding' in our latest CQC review, our service consists of an acute and 2 standalone birth centres. We also have 2 community midwifery led units, a 24 hour Maternity Assessment Unit and are in the planning stages of an alongside midwifery unit at the RUH site. This is your chance to be part of a transforming organisation where we aim to ensure all women have access to the optimal birth environment in accordance with their choice. An opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking, motivated, woman centred, Band 7 midwife with leadership and managerial skills to lead our antenatal outpatient clinic. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced midwife, who is able to role model, lead by example and provide first line managerial support., The post holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to improve the health of women and children in line with the Public Health agenda. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of clinical care is achieved by efficient and effective use of resources, liaising with other agencies, organising, and ensuring supervision of practice, and teaching of staff and students.

The post holder will take an active part in implementing the recommendation of national reports such as the Three year delivery plan for maternity and neonatal services.

To collect, analyse and identify themes captured in feedback to improve quality and family experience furthermore produce reports and share themes and action plans
