Full Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and experienced maternity support workers who can work flexibly within shift patterns to join our maternity team. We currently have positions available on our Postnatal Ward, Delivery Suite and Community settings. Why should you come and join us at Birmingham Women's Hospital?

  • The Trust provides an extensive range of in-house MDT training and support in ongoing professional development, with a Practice Development Midwife Focused on Maternity Support Workers., The primary role of the Maternity Support Worker (MSW) is to assist, support and work in collaboration with the midwife and the wider multidisciplinary team; in order to provide a safe and holistic approach to women centred care.
