Full Job Description

To ensure availability of engines and spares to support the UK Military's operations. Carrying out administrative actions as required to manage equipment repair flows, meet the customer's needs, including preparing quotations, invoicing, and liaising with other departments to ensure timely delivery. Key Objectives :

  • Administer and track progress of on-site engine repairs throughout the Maintenance Centre process. Acting as liaison for technicians.
  • Administer and track progress of inter-site equipment repairs throughout the Repair Centre process. Liaising with stakeholders to ensure commitments are met and any changes communicated promptly.
  • Co-ordinate logistics requirements with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery for both customer and internal requirements.
  • Meet the commitments for delivery of products and services. Ensuring adherence to the contract, internal strategy and commercial policy.
  • Support the Customer Support Manager in identification of additional sales opportunities and the preparation of quotations for additional contract services and equipment repairs.
  • Participation in the Quality Management processes. Propose and implement continuous improvement actions and process improvements., Booking and tracking the repair of assets, maintaining ready use stock levels for engine repairs in the UK Maintenance Centre.
  • Booking, tracking, supporting and reporting of engine repairs in the UK Maintenance Centre, maintaining availability of engines for the customer.
  • Keeping customers up to date in terms of deliveries, and informing them of any potential delay and the mitigating action
  • To propose the implementation of continuous improvement actions (best practices) and process improvements especially through the improved use of IT e.g. SAP, Excel, PowerBI
  • Reporting customer contacts in the CRM system

    English and Maths GCSE grade 9-4 (A C), Excellent command of the English language, written and spoken
  • Self-organised and able to manage multiple ongoing queries / actions / enquiries
  • Communication and people skills
  • MS Office especially Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Customer relations
  • SAP Knowledge desired
  • Experience :
  • Sales administration of contracts & customers in a complex business to business environment
  • Aerospace industry experience desired
