Full Job Description

Norwich School is looking to appoint a Minibus Driver on a part-time, term time only basis. The salary for this permanent post is £9,846 per annum which is pro-rated from a full-time salary of £25,528 per annum. The role is 20 hours per week over 34 weeks. The required hours are Monday to Friday from 6am to 10am.

Under the direction of the Transport & Logistics Supervisor, the successful applicant will operate the school minibuses and provide a collection and delivery service for school staff and pupils. The ideal candidate will have previous driving experience preferably gained in a school environment and will possess good interpersonal and organisational skills as well as the ability to work alone and under their own initiative. The post holder will have a full driving licence with D1 entitlement.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a flexible approach to working hours. Please note the school strictly complies with the EU Rules for Drivers’ Hours.
