Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Minute Taker to enhance our already established friendly and supportive team who will contribute to the key work of the Education and Children's Directorate.

This post sits within Children's Social Care based in the North Area (Lancaster, Fylde and Wyre dependant on the successful candidates home address) providing support to operational staff, managers and Independent Reviewing Officers in relation to the minute taking of a variety of meetings. We are currently working a combination of home and office working, therefore, you will be required to have a suitable confidential working space within your home and an appropriate broadband connection. Due to the nature of this role the expectation will be that you may be expected to work from a variety of locations.

Knowledge and Experience - Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.

Great Communication - You'll be engaging and providing advice to Managers, Social Workers, families, members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis, so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key., This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
