Full Job Description

This role sits within the well-established Cirencester College MIS team with a focus on compliance, supporting our current processes and developing new ones based on changes to the various rules and guidance we must follow.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to understand and implement rules and guidance that change regularly. Part of the role will be to drive high standards of compliance to ensure that all documentation is 'audit ready' and accessible by relevant stakeholders.

You will be working in a team who has worked together for the past five years to build a strong MIS service for the college. We are always learning and developing as a team to get the most out of our time and the resources that we have.

Strong IT skills are a must as much of this role involves handling digital files, data and information.

The post holder will be expected to:

  • Keep up to date with all relevant funding rules.

  • Ensure that student records are funding compliant and audit ready.

  • Ensure that enrolment documentation is compliant with relevant funding rules.

  • Create and maintain documentation relating to audit and compliance.

  • Undertake other projects as directed by the MIS Manager.

  • This role is a great opportunity for someone to progress from another compliance related role, who has a genuine interest in upholding and improving processes.

The successful candidate will work with the MIS Manager to scope the needs for compliance and build a plan of work. Training will be provided in this role where the successful candidate may not have experienced sector specific tools.

We reserve the right to interview prior to this date.

We regret that due to the large number of applications we receive we are only able to contact those candidates to be interviewed.

Benefits include: LGPS defined benefit pension scheme - 23.6% college pension contribution, reviewed annually (including life assurance), generous holidays, sick pay scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, free on-site car parking, on-site fitness suite, Refectory and Cycle to Work Scheme.

Cirencester College may carry out online searches during the recruitment process on shortlisted candidates, as part of due diligence checks.

This College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Cirencester College welcomes applications from all sectors of the community and is an equal opportunities employer.

    Salary: £26,529 - £27,749 FTE per annum
