Mobile Caretaker (with driving licence)

Neway is looking for a Mobile Caretaker to join our client based with Nottingham Community Housing Association., Nottingham Community Housing Association is seeking a diligent and reliable Mobile Caretaker to join our Facilities and Environmental Services team on a temporary basis. This role is critical in ensuring our properties and facilities are well-maintained, safe, and secure for our residents and staff., Perform routine testing and maintenance of technical equipment, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV, and maintain accurate records.
Conduct legionella flushes and ensure all health and safety standards are met.
Carry out basic DIY tasks such as minor repairs, hedge trimming, grass cutting, and litter picking.
Highlight and report any hazards or defects identified on the premises.
Physically capable of moving and carrying boxes and navigating multiple flights of stairs.
Manage and prioritize your workload effectively across multiple sites.
Provide caretaking services across various locations, including Clifton, with a van provided if required.

Proven experience in caretaking and/or buildings maintenance.
Strong knowledge of health and safety practices.
Experience in testing and maintaining fire alarms, emergency lighting, and similar technical equipment.
Basic DIY skills and the ability to address minor maintenance tasks.
A valid driving license is essential.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage your own workload.

Start Date: 26th August asap (initially for a 3 month contract)
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 13:30)
