Full Job Description

  • You will be required to assist the cook in producing hot and cold food in accordance with menu requirements

  • To ensure that portion control is monitored to the required standard

  • Setting and dismantling the dining area

  • Washing up and any other related tasks

  • Ensure the full area of responsibility is clean and appropriately presented

  • To maintain Taylor Shaw standards on personal and kitchen hygiene, Food Safety and Health & Safety, and to operate to the standards required by statutory Regulations

  • Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of the menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients

  • Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures

  • To undergo appropriate on and off the job training and to put this training into practice within the Unit

  • To undertake any other duties by the Cook Supervisor that may be required for the effective running of the Unit.

  • To comply with reasonable requests made by the Unit Manager or the company, including covering staff at any other unit within the contract as and when required


  • Elior is committed to safeguarding children and colleagues. Candidates that are shortlisted for this role, will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including Children's Barred List, and two suitable references.

    Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 16 hours, term time only, plus mileage allowance
