Mobile Localities Supervisor

The Mobile Localities Supervisor will be responsible day to day for the delivery of a proactive customer focused Localities service within the South Hams District. Responsible for the delivery of a high-quality service, engaging with members of the public, political members, community groups, all other departments within the Council, and operational teams on a daily basis., The role will have direct line-management responsibility for the Mobile Localities officers. The team undertake reporting and monitoring functions and are the face of the Council in every encounter. The teams' duties include, environmental enforcement, stray dog service, various testing and project work amongst many other functions. The Supervisor will provide support, training and guidance to the team as well as ensuring the safety of the officers whilst they carry out their wide range of tasks.
