Full Job Description
The Mobile Plant Operative will be responsible for the safe undertaking of mobile plant activities within the waste processing operation, and as and when required, support the Operations Team and for all other general process operative activities associated with the processing operations and the general site. Whilst training and development is provided and encouraged, please see below for the minimum requirements of the role
- GCSE Qualification in Maths and English
- National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) or equivalent for Wheeled Loading Shovel
- Ability to demonstrate Waste Process knowledge
- Good organisational skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to demonstrate experience in Mobile Plant Operations, Cleaning, Mobile Plant checks and communication
Lancashire Renewables Ltd was established for the operation and management of the two waste treatment facilities built for the Lancashire Waste Contract. Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year. Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual (black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill. - Competitive salary.
