Full Job Description
The Mobile Plant Relief Operative will be responsible for the safe undertaking of mobile plant activities within the waste processing operation. Additionally, when required support the mobile plant team and carry out general process operative activities associated with processing operations and the general site. Whilst training and development is provided and encouraged, please see below for the minimum requirements of the role
- GCSE Maths and English - Grade C or above
- National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) or equivalent for FLT, teletruck, or wheeled loading shovel.
- Waste process knowledge an advantage
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Operation of mobile plant experience
- Basic inspections of mobile plant
- Good organisational skills
- Good verbal and written skills - able to communicate at all levels
- Ability to demonstrate work experiences in:
- Mobile Plant Operation
- Cleaning
- Mobile Plant Checks
- Communication
Lancashire Renewables Ltd was established for the operation and management of the two waste treatment facilities built for the Lancashire Waste Contract. Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year. Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual (black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill.
