Full Job Description

As a Mobile Relief Caretaker at Islington Council, you will play a pivotal role in cleaning and other estate duties, working alone or with other caretakers to provide an excellent caretaker service on estates. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is making a real difference in the community.

In your role as Mobile Relief Caretaker, you will be responsible for cleaning communal areas such as hallways, staircases and lobbies, sweeping, mopping, dusting and wiping down surfaces, disposing of waste properly, reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

The ideal candidate for this role must be flexible with working in different areas of Islington, working inside and outside in the different changes of weather, hard working, adaptable to change work schedules at short notice, good communication skills and able to use technology to report any issues to Management. The candidate should have the ability to work independently, manage time effectively and display professionalism as a representative of Islington Council.
