Mobile School Catering Manager

The overall management of a school catering operation, monitoring and controlling the catering service to ensure that quality and consistency of the service are maintained at all times., The role is not based in one location, and you will provide cover and assistance to schools across the borough where required and will therefore receive casual car user allowance. The role is 32.5 hours per week and is term-time only hours.

Good practical skills are essential for this hands-on role. You will need to be a great cook, determined, energetic with great organisational skills, used to cooking for large numbers, and ideally have a school catering background with an understanding of portion control, budgets and ordering. The role involves working in various school kitchens so enjoying meeting new people and great personal skills are needed for this role.
