Full Job Description

As a Service Delivery Support Officer, you will:

  • Assist with the process of issuing and collecting devices across key council locations including Council House, Bluebell Centre, Endeavour House and Chapel House

  • Assist with technical projects including the implementation and installation of new systems, major system upgrades and replacement programmes.

  • Manage and maintain process for delivery/availability/collection of Mobile Devices across multiple sites.

  • Support to the Call Handling Team, providing technical guidance and advice to ensure Service Level Targets and that KPI's are met.


  • You will have

  • An ICT related qualification such as an HNC (or equivalent) OR the ability to demonstrate through extended relevant experience, the necessary specialist knowledge to undertake the full range of duties.

  • Significant experience of working with hardware and software and dealing with customer inquiries

  • Experience in supporting devices using Microsoft 365

  • Knowledge and experience of working as Desktop/ IT Support Analyst (or equivalent)

    Hours will be worked on a rota basis around the service desk which runs between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.,
