Full Job Description
We have a great opportunity for a Mobilisation Business Coordinator to join our Wates team within our Responsive Maintenance division on a FTC for 11 months. You will be working out of our Finsbury Park office leading the implementation of a dynamic scheduling solution across multiple repairs and maintenance contracts within the social housing sector. This pivotal role ensures the effective onboarding of new systems and processes, streamlining operations, and improving service delivery for residents. Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination:
- Support the mobilisation of dynamic scheduling solutions across various contracts.
- Assist the Mobilisation Managers to manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Ensure alignment with client requirements, business goals, and resident needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal teams (IT, operations, customer service) to ensure seamless integration.
- Support the engagement with external stakeholders, including clients and vendor.
- Provide regular progress updates to Mobilisation Managers.
- System Implementation:
- Support with the coordination of the configuration, testing, and rollout of scheduling software.
- Work closely with software vendors to address technical issues and ensure system functionality.
- Support Mobilisation Managers to identify and resolve challenges during implementation to minimise service disruption.
- Training and Support:
- Support the delivery of all necessary training.
- Provide ongoing support to users during and post-implementation to ensure adoption and efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Support Mobilisation Managers to establish KPIs to measure the success of the scheduling solution.

- Proven experience in project coordination, ideally within the social housing or maintenance sector. Preferred.
- Strong understanding of repairs and maintenance operations, including scheduling processes. Preferred.
- Familiarity with dynamic scheduling software (e.g., FLS, DRS or similar) is highly desirable/ Preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Essential.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. Essential.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, MS Project). Essential (excel)., Degree or equivalent experience in project management, business administration, or a related field - advantageous but not essential.
- Relevant project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) are advantageous but not essential.
