Full Job Description

UHCW / Project Co are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Nurse or Midwife or AHP who is working towards becoming a Modern Matron to act as liaison between survey teams, project and installation teams, and the local Trust management. This role will coordinate and liaise with all parties in order to arrange access to various hospital areas while ensuring minimal disruption to patient care and the operation of the hospital. The successful candidate will initially oversee this vital role independently, with the potential to develop and lead a dedicated team over the coming years., Liaison and Coordination
+ Serve as the primary point of contact between survey / works teams and the Trust.
+ Facilitate communication and ensure clear, timely dissemination of information to all the relevant stakeholders
+ Coordinate access to hospital areas, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols, security measures and local Trust requirements.
+ Local knowledge of how the hospital operates with its various departments is essential, + Develop and maintain access schedules in collaboration with survey and works teams to minimize impact on patient care and staff activities
+ Manage access permissions and liaise with department heads and ward managers to schedule works at convenient times
+ Maintain safeguards according to legal & statutory duties - e.g. induction and supervision
Quality Assurance and Monitoring
+ Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all activities carried out by survey and works teams comply with NHS standards and Trust policies
+ Maintain comprehensive records of access permissions, schedules, and work progress for reporting purposes
+ Work with the Infection Prevention and Control team and departmental colleagues to provide feedback and assurance
Stakeholder Engagement
+ Engage with clinical and non-clinical staff to understand and address any concerns related to survey and works activities
+ Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and resolutions
+ Coordinate 'sign-off' process and ensure appropriate feedback measures are in place
+ Monitor patient experience of services identifying themes for improvement and collaborate in finding solutions
+ Have frequent, visible contact with stakeholders providing feedback ensuring excellent communication and liaison takes place with the groups.
+ Liaise with the clinical site management team as required.
