Full Job Description

The monitoring, evaluation and learning analyst will be based in London and be expected to be in our London office at least 2 days per week.

The purpose of the role is to provide support to the collection, analysis and presentation of impact data, across a range of social impact campaigns and media development programmes.

You will support programme teams to ensure they have high quality evidence, to enable them to learn and improve their work and communicate impact to key stakeholders.

This role will be suited a someone with strong critical thinking skills who is interested in the role of evidence and data in strategic communications.

What you'll be doing

  • In collaboration with programme teams, you will be supporting the development of monitoring, evaluation and learning systems.

  • Supporting the development of data collection tools, including surveys, feedback forms and key informant interviews. Analysis of feedback forms and survey data.

  • Execution of quarterly qualitative interviews with partners organisations. Creation of interview transcripts using Happy Scribe and summarising key findings.

  • Data collation and summarisation : review of multiple mid-term and final narrative reports and extraction of key output / outcome findings and data into standardised format.

  • Analysing qualitative and quantitative data and drawing conclusions about the success of different programmes.

  • Communicating programme results to relevant stakeholders, working with them to make improvements based on evaluation findings.

  • Supporting client reporting processes, ensuring results frameworks are kept up to date.

  • Maintenance and update of MEL documents (M&E matrix, attendance trackers)

  • Represent Zinc at meetings with clients and project partners, all while embodying the values of Zinc Network, Have the right to work in the UK under requirements

  • Disclose any previous disciplinary action against them resulting from a substantiated safeguarding (including any breaches involving trafficking- related activities) or workplace investigation.

  • Undergo background checks including employment verification, sexual offender registry (as available), identity confirmation, and anti-terrorism vetting.

    Graduate degree in social sciences, economics, humanities or related discipline

  • 1 or more years work experience in international development, campaigns, media, or a monitoring and evaluation role.

  • Knowledge of Excel and confidence conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis, with support.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Confidence interacting with a variety of stakeholders
