Full Job Description

The Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU) are recruiting for a research 'Monitoring and Quality Manager' to be an integral part of the Quality Assurance team. Reporting to the Senior Quality Assurance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the trial teams in facilitating central and onsite monitoring activities, in addition to contributing to the ongoing development and maintenance of the NCTU Quality Management System., To apply for this role, please complete the application form in full. This post is offered on a fixed-term contract for 24 months. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may also be considered.

Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.

You will have experience in clinical trial monitoring, understanding of clinical trial design, trial conduct and trial delivery, experience of developing and/or maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related documents, have the ability to communicate and work effectively with colleagues, and excellent attention to detail., Disability Confident
