Full Job Description

Working in the Property team, you will manage mortgage applications from start to finish, overseeing cases through initial review, search, underwriting, and completion. Your role involves supporting the team by gathering necessary information and liaising with brokers to keep them informed and assist with valuations after offers. Acting as a case manager, you'll resolve queries and collaborate with team members as needed. You'll prioritise exceptional customer service for both internal and external stakeholders while adhering to internal procedures, maintaining high-quality work, and meeting business and regulatory targets.

This role will benefit a hybrid working arrangement, to be based between our Basingstoke office (3 days per week) and working the rest of the week from home.

What is important is that you have previous experience working in financial services (or similar) with the ability to work well on the telephone. It would be advantageous if you have previous experience in the mortgage underwriting process, however training will be provided. You will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service with the ability to pay meticulous attention to detail. Taking into consideration the nature of the role, you will be confident working in a demanding environment and juggling simultaneous priorities whilst doing the right thing for colleagues, customers and the bank.

What is equally important to us is that you can work well as part of a team and possess a can-do attitude with the ability to challenge but in a constructive manner. Your communication skills will need to be strong (both verbal and written) with the ability to manage a busy workload and maximise your personal productivity.

As well as a competitive salary (guide salary £27,000 to £29,000, dependent on experience), we offer an annual performance related bonus based on individual and company performance.
