Full Job Description

+ You will take the lead for quality and clinical interventions on the ward and be an active member of a collective leadership group.
+ You will be responsible for guiding and undertaking clinical assessments, in accordance with clinical pathways, in order to establish the person's needs, goals, risks and strengths in order to generate a formulation based care plan agreed with all involved.
+ You will be responsible for guiding and delivering therapeutic interventions, in accordance with an agreed care plan.
+ You will also be expected to be available for consultation, support and clinical supervision to other health professionals working on the ward., As an experienced Mental Health Nurse (RMN) from the NHS or private sector, you'll join a team that works in close partnership with Staffordshire Police and Mental Health Services, and you'll join a Trust that puts people at the heart of what we do.
We provide inpatient facilities for working age adults with acute mental health problems and we are looking for caring, compassionate individual to work within our acute service who are committed to providing high quality care and treatment to our patients. Working in an acute environment can be challenging, but with the right team, positive attitude and resilience we are rising to the challenge and reaping the reward of being able to support people during their most difficult times.
With you in our team, we will empower you to work innovatively, showing a commitment to providing compassionate care and a strong desire to improve the patient's experience. You will be able to apply the philosophies of engagement, recovery and positive care in your work with your patients.
Through the appraisal process, you will be expected to demonstrate ongoing professional development, including postgraduate study, which may prepare them for future study at Level 7 (for instance MSc Advanced Clinical Practice).
Alongside academic development, you will also be expected to work closely with the MDT to further develop skills and knowledge to aid clinical career progression

Chebsey House is a mixed adult inpatient facility of 20 beds which provides care and support patients 18 years upwards.
