Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic & highly motivated individual to join our forward thinking & committed Community Rehabilitation Teams as an AHP Clinical Lead.

Our Community Rehabilitation Teams are working in many innovative & exciting ways to positively influence their provision of care & support the wellbeing of our staff throughout the process. Our multi-professional & integrated teams have demonstrated this within many significant projects, including our recent regional recognition for innovation in wellbeing & virtual working, as well as our integrated clinics with other services such as IAPT (Talking Therapies) & neurological consultants.

Join our motivated & ambitious team in a newly developed role as an innovative clinical lead in providing strategic direction to teams, whilst creating robust clinical governance structures for rehab pathways, support and supervision.

You will also support colleagues in developing talent through CPD, managing & supporting others with a varied caseload of complex Community Rehabilitation patients & have the desire to develop yourself & the service, with a keen eye on improving patient care., As Clinical Lead you will support new ways of working that emphasises a more efficient and patient focused service and will ensure the safe treatment, referral and discharge of patients with complex and highly complex presentations in their area.

As part of this role you will be expected to:

Independently manage your own caseload within one of the team's specialist areas, support colleagues and contribute to departmental and service needs.

Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, show initiative and team spirit (strong sense of team / collaborative working) as well as be committed to patient care.

  • You will have a responsibility for leading the on-going development of clinical practice and standards of care within the service, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.

  • You will be able to critically engage in research activity, actively identifying gaps in evidence base and be instrumental in research implementation into clinical practice


  • Continuing Professional Development is encouraged and identified through annual appraisal. Professional supervision is offered through groups or individual supervision as appropriate.
