Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an internal secondment for a Deputy Operational Lead to join the East Staffordshire Therapies Leadership Team. This is a new post as part of the ongoing development of our planned care services. The successful candidate will work alongside the Operational Manager, Operational Leads for Clinic Based and Domiciliary Based Therapy Services and aligned Clinical Leads to provide Operational Leadership therapy teams, working to support integration and service development., This is a secondment (12 month) full time post based at Anglesey House in Burton on Trent; which is uniquely set up to support all Therapy and Nursing Services in East Staffordshire There may be the opportunity for this to be extended or made permanent at the end of the secondment., The post holder will be given the opportunity to develop skills in Operational management and Leadership within a multi-disciplinary team, in accordance with Trust values, in the delivery of effective, efficient and high quality services for service users. Work in conjunction with the Operational Leads, General Manager, Operational Managers, Head of Operations, Senior Nurses and Professional Leads to develop and deliver safe and effective services, in accordance with key national targets, clinical standards, service priorities and performance indicators set by local commissioners and Trust policies. Undertake a team coach role, alongside the Operational Lead/s in planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the service provided to patients. To deputise for the Operational Lead/s as required. The post holder will work alongside the Operational Manager to support and oversee operational delivery of services at team level; they will be guided to work autonomously in order to address issues impacting on service delivery with overall support and strategic direction from the Operational Managers.

The post holder will have knowledge and experience of working within a health setting and be committed to supporting integrated working within community therapy settings, will demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to work with services, teams, staff (internal & external) and service users to develop and improve systems.
